Hartstrings Dress Review

Thanks to MomSelect and Hartstrings I was one of the lucky moms chosen to
review a dress from Hartstrings. And now I'm super excited to share with you how adorable this dress was.

I made some healthy 

snacks, and

made sure to have lots 

of water on hand to 

re-hydrate. 

Then it was time to get down

to business.....

First we watched the moves to get a breakdown of

what was going on. There is a slow option and then a normal paced option to get acquainted with the moves at your own pace. 

Then we started with the slowest song first so

 we could stretch and get used to 

the dance moves. 

And loosen up. 

We had a blast with the 

Zumba Fitness 2 game for Wii. You can see the excitement 

on our faces :)

That handy belt you see us wearing is where you place your wii remote as you are playing, this 

way the wii can measure your moves by 

the way you are shaking it. Here you can see we were really getting down, as you are 

doing the moves the the game will give you stars 

and at the end of each song you get a score. 

It also shows you how many calories 

you burn. If you are looking for some fun and

exciting cardio this game is for you! We had such

a blast!

The Zumba Fitness 2 game for wii was so much fun and I really got my work out on! And had a lot of fun while doing it. The game was really fun to follow and had choices of low intensity, med intensity, and high intensity. Lots of fun music and moves. Go and buy this game now, you wont be sorry!

Our park has a hill

This weekend we went to the park and had a picnic.

It was such a nice day out. 

Addison as usual followed Hailey and wanted her full attention.

And all Hailey wanted to do was play on the hill and eat her Christmas cake.

Yes, I said Christmas cake, because even though it's November those

bad boys are fully stocked at Publix. And Hailey has a sweet spot for them, 

no pun intended.

I love days like this. Not only did we hit up the Estero park, but we went to gulf coast town center

to check out the new "park" they added. However, I was disappointed because their new park

consisted of a pirate ship and one octopus slide.  So it was

a bit of a let down. 

Adventures of a cushion climber

If you know me you would know that I do not pride myself on having a spotless house. I'm more of the 

I'll get to it when I get to it type mom. Having children I realized it is almost impossible to stay

on top of everything including cleaning, cooking, taking care of sick kids, bathing, homework,

taking care of hubby, washing dishes, laundry, yada yada yada the list goes on. So I learned to have a laid back attitude from the get go when it involved my mommy/wifey duties. I got lucky because my slave driver hubby is also pretty laid back when it comes to these things as well. So when it comes to making a mess for fun I say sure why not! The other day I had an idea, Addison has been climbing from our bed to Haileys bed a lot lately and I figured she needed some practice on climbing. More so the getting down part because she likes to just fall off the side of Hailey's bed. (Don't worry its only like 6 inches off the ground, and we put pillows down) So I decided it would be a good idea to take all the cushions off the couch and put them on the floor. Then I proceeded to spread toys all over the place, and let Addy practice climbing. Lets take a look at her adventure.

OMG mom you are awesome, I'm having so much fun climbing on the couch and gently falling on the cushions all around the couch!

Oh yea, I got this, one thing at a time!

So yea, pulling my couch apart and spreading toys everywhere kept her busy for about 45 minutes. She was having a blast. Don't you love her mismatched socks? 

I left the couch pulled apart all day and she would go back and forth playing and climbing or then doing something else. But then Hailey came home, and she kept jumping on the couch and driving me crazy because her sister was right next to her about to get smashed. 

But making a mess is fun, right?

This and That

If you happen to notice I have a new header. After trying to edit my blog and freshen it up 

the other week, it failed didn't go so well. So of course I cried like a little baby was a little upset. But now I'm happy again! Yay!

Halloween went amazing, and the children looked adorable. Every year our little group gets together to go trick or treating.  We always end up getting out very late, but this year I'm happy to say it was in a much more timely manner that we were out the door and getting some candy. Which of course I have eaten almost all of it.... Bad mommy.

Now that Halloween is over and done with its time to get into November. 

This is a busy month for us.

Hailey will be going to the hospital to have all of her dental work done

on the 16th. Which I'm not to excited about at all. But will be super happy when it is 

over with. Another day in the hospital waiting and crying in store for me. But we can get through it,

just keep us in your thoughts and prayers, as Hailey will be under general anesthesia for a few hours. 

And then there is Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping and No school for half a week.

I'm pretty excited about that. I'm sure I will gain at least 5 lbs this month, 

but I won't know it because my scale broke :(

 Now back to my Sunday of sitting on my butt cleaning.
